Teresa first served as an award winning radio reporter and radio news anchor receiving recognition for her work from the Associated Press, The Detroit Press Club, and the American Women in Radio and TV.

Mattie Henry

In 1970, Mattie Henry, together with his parents and brother Tommie, emigrated to the United States to join his other brother, Noel Henry. The three brothers formed the Noel Henry Irish Showband and spent the next twenty-odd years touring and performing across the country at dances, weddings and concerts, making a name for themselves as a premier dance band.

In 1991, Mattie made his first journey to Medjugorje, traveling with Noel, and a few brave pilgrims to this little-known spot in war-torn Yugoslavia. What he found was an Oasis of Peace that he has carried in his heart ever since. As time went on left the band and moved on to other things, gradually building a reputation of his own with his rich baritone voice, which lends itself perfectly to what Mattie Henry is all about today: a man who spreads the Word of God through music.

Along with providing some of his beautiful music throughout the conference and during Mass, Mattie will also be the M.C. for the conference.

Paul Harrigan

Paul is the youngest of ten children (eight boys) so, naturally, Notre Dame football and rock ‘n roll were the source of much of his formation and inspiration as a youth. After 9 years of Catholic schools he decided to attend a co-ed public high school. With his newfound freedom (off campus lunches and no hair cuts) and playing drums at parties with his band just about every weekend, Paul eventually fell away from the faith of his youth.

After years of performing at popular Hollywood nightclubs and experiencing those things which “the world” tells us will bring happiness, Paul discovered only misery and emptiness. At a time when things couldn’t have looked any worse for him, he was invited to go on a pilgrimage to Medjugore, located in Bosnia-Hercegovina. As a pilgrim Paul discovered the reality of the love and mercy of Jesus Christ through the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who continually calls us to “do whatever He tells you.
